Stephen Eckard

Stephen Larned Eckard (July 11, 1912 - 1979)[1] was an American journalist who spent much of his life living in London. He was a regular contributor to The American.

He founded The American School in London in 1951 in his Knightsbridge flat. The school is now based in St John's Wood, London, and has an enrollment of 1,350 students.
